Bestfriend is a Vancouver-Toronto indie-pop duo. I created a flyer for the band’s debut live show in Toronto. They wanted an eye-catching flyer with a retro aesthetic and a risograph effect. They also wanted to incorporate the fact that the show fell on one of the member’s birthdays.

My inspiration was old rock posters that you might find taped to a bedroom wall. I achieved the worn poster effect by printing and scanning the image multiple times. The risograph effect is meant to juxtapose the worn aesthetic and make Kaelan and Stacey stand out.
