OBJECT STUDY

2022

Object Study is an ongoing visual exploration of everyday objects that give me creative inspiration. Sometimes I get inspiration from unlikely places and mundane objects like food packaging, candy, old textbooks, or toys from my childhood. I collect these objects, study them and translate them into visual pieces.

I enjoy the mundanity of every day objects. Look closer. What is seemingly boring can often be the best inspiration. With this series I am trying to use monotony to spark imagination.

I collect objects and scan them. Then I combine them with layers of acrylic paint and use digital techniques to create multi-media prints.
